Year 6 Leavers
Dear families,
I just wanted to pen a note to say “Goodbye” to our Year 6 children. I’ve always kept a personal watch on this year group as my eldest son is also Year 6 – so watching his development mirror that of our Hillfort children has been something. So, I really empathise with those mixed feelings of excitement and of sadness that happen around this parting.
Our Year 6’s have had to cope with far more than they should have had to over the last two years. But, they have shown resilience, gorgeous manners, a love of learning and an excitement for life! They leave well prepared for secondary life, and we will miss them.
